Its says clean lubes and repels debris??? I have some layin around just wondering if it would be as good as some mobile 1? If not I will go to the auto store and pick up some mobile 1 and atf fuild, what would be a good ratio to use on guns?

Three parts Mobil 1 20W50 to one part Dextron ATF will work.

I will have to try that, thx JBP55

Mobil 1 20W50 works great by itself.
It works great with 80% Mobil 1 and 20% Dextron ATF.
If you use a lighter grade oil and the mixture is too thin you can add a small amount of STP.

i have used marvel air tool oil for a while and find it sticks around for a lot longer than remoil and collects less dust/crap around my hammer and other actions... this is more of a concern to me since i'm in the club now and carry condition 1...

a lot of it has to do with living uptown nola... there's a hardware store a block away and a gun store 30 minutes away

just for clarification since i don't think it was said outright, is this a concoction for an alternative to buying gun oil?

thanks...i found the Ed's red recipe...going to try this out
I use Ed's Red for cleaning all my guns. A gallon last me a very long time. Works great. I also mixed a similar portion for my 15 gallon cleaning vat. Cleans the bore good and protects from corrosion.
