You don't. You change the title to sold, and close the thread. You don't need to edit anything out or any of that. Keeping a record of what you have sold makes you more reputable to others in the future...especially when you are looking to buy or sell again!

    From the rules:
KEEP YOUR SALE/TOPIC 'UP TO DATE':
Edit your Thread Title with "SPF(Sold pending Funds)," "Sold," "Traded," "Gone" etc.
This is to aid the moderators as well as buyers by knowing what the current status of the Sale AD is and whether it's still available.
In your original post, click Edit, then Go Advanced and edit the title from there.
*Please do not reply to your thread to mark it Sold.*

So, if you sell something, in short:
    Edit the title to sold.
Edit in to the first post in the thread stating that the item has been sold.
Close the thread (you can check a box when editing the thread in "go advanced" mode).

As always, if you need help, PM a moderator or one of us lovely administrators. Well. I am the only lovely one. The others are just OK. hehe!
