Olofson's case is certainly an excellent example of why this country may no longer be worth fighting for. He ought to know.

Mr Olofson was quite well known at another board that I used to frequent. The fact of the matter is that he knowingly and willfully put U.S. M16 parts into his AR15 thus turning it into an unregistered NFA weapon. Knowing that he did that, he told the other person NOT to use the third position at the range. Unfortunately some friends do not listen too well.
Now that he has been caught he is attempting everything he can to get out of the charges. He was not framed, and it was not a malfunction as he is trying to prove.
