That'll do the job to get rid of the crimp once deprimed. I've had zero problems running brass of all sorts through my LEE universal decapper. As long as you don't go crazy tightening the collet nut you should never break the decapping pin even if you run into a really tightly crimped primer. If it helps any, if I know I'm working with crimped brass I've had good results with a tapping type action on the press handle as opposed to trying to muscle them out.Dillon Super Swage, the only way to go.
