Be carefull doing this, It is easy to apply to thick of a coating, and the mag wil not drop free until you have run it in and out 1000 times.

On the CRC can, at the bottom (hidden by the curve of the can, in the pic) is either a Stock #, product # or a CAS #. Can you post that number? CRC has three different products listed by the same name.

I'll post up the number as soon as I get home for ya.

You did good, chief.. Keep it up. It's nice to something like that.
Thanks Jim, They seem to be holding up pretty well too

I suppose anything is possible, but its a pretty thin film, not thick like piant. I have no problems with any of them in any of my lowers.

Well I did it with Gunkote with just two coats. May just be my lowers. Wet sanded the tops of one or two mags, and then just used the others at the range until they began dropping free. All Im saying is be carefull.

Gunkote is not Dry Film Moly. But thanks for the warning, and like I said, All the mags I refinished with it drop free just fine in over a half-dozen lowers.

    Hank,
The only number I see on the can I used is 03084. Here is a link to it on grainger's website. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/2F138, Hope that helps.

Perfect: just what I was looking for. Thanks.

I want to try this, and compare it with two Brownells products. I'll post any significant results.
