Can anyone give me the step by step to remove the trigger from a subcompact glock? I got stuck while riding 4 wheelers last night and submerged my 33 in a liquid mud & sand mix. Now when I pull the trigger I can feel sand in the trigger. I was going to remove it & blast it with some remoil. Is it just as simple as pulling the 2 pins & it comes out?

Push the pins out (2 or 3 depending on model) and it lifts right out. They should all come out simply by pushing, if the front pin seems stuck you need to wiggle the slide stop to get the front pin out. Once the pins are out, pull out the slide stop, locking block and trigger assembly. Assembly is reverse order, and make sure the slide stop spring goes under the pin.

It's really easy, if you get stuck there's tons of videos on Youtube that will walk you through it.

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who may possibly potentially might have uploaded the AGI Gunsmithing Glock video to his web server. Headshot, if you're interested shoot me a PM. It goes into detail the functions of the Glock, as well as disassembly, etc.

It's pretty freaking easy. Once you do it once, you'll be all like, "Wow that was all easy and stuff!"

This about summs it up! The only problem I had was when replacing the locking block, the spring on the slide release got under the block & when the gun was assembled the slide would lock back without the mag in. That had me all  for a few minutes, so I disassembled & reassembled & it worked great!!!

I like to use compressed air or keyboard dust blaster to blow out sand from those little areas.

Works in a pinch, but never seems to get it all out for me. Plus you can't even begin to get the fouling off the frame and smaller internals this way.

I've set my detail cleaning regimen at about every 2k rounds. So typically once every 2-3 weeks. It used to take me quite a while; now I can do it in less time it takes me to field strip and clean alone. And when you break something, it's always good to be able to fix it on the spot. (So stock spare parts!)

Don't hose it with Remoil...just a couple drops where the connector interfaces with the birds head (looks just like it sounds) of the trigger bar is all it takes. Anything else will just collect grit. I prefer a touch of Slide Glide grease but YMMV.
