This is a good one. I own a truck and have a free and clear Louisiana Title for it in hand. A good buddy from Oklahoma is going to a mutal friends place in Texas this weekend. He agreed to buy the truck if I can get it to him on Saturday. Is there any way to legally sell him (a Oklahoma resident) the truck in Texas on Saturday?

If you don't know don't guess. Looking for people who KNOW!

He needs to ask the Oklahoma DMV what documents he needs and if they need to be notarized. Every state has different requirements, some easier, some tougher.

Depends on if Oklahoma is a notary state or not. If so, make sure you both have drivers licenses with you and get a texas notary to notarize it. Make sure he has a photocopy of your Louisiana license to take to dmv with him. Not sure if a bill of sale is needed in OK, but it is not needed in LA. Easy enough to do one anyway.
If OK is not a notary state, sign it over and be done.
Remove tag and take it to LA dmv and get a receipt to avoid any possible future penalties.

Have him call ok dmv and ask
