Husband/wife new to shooting.

Hi Everyone
Hubby and I are new to shooting. We are retired Air Force and soon to be really retired So will have lots of time to indulge our new hobby. We currently live in Lafayette(Broussard). We are now shooting at Barney's up in Carencro. We have heard of a good outdoor range at Sherborne and plan to check it out this week. Any other good places to shoot around here or within a couple of hours? We currently have a few guns. S&W M&P22, Ruger SR22, Beretta 9mm, and I just got a Ruger 10/22 TakeDown. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Randolph is actually one of the bases we were not at Our last few years were spent overseas with NATO AWACS.

Have you tried the New Iberia Sheriff Range? It is clean and the pistol range was pretty good. The rifle range was fairly crowded last time I went, I am not sure how it usually is since I have only gone once but I do plan to go again. It is outside so weather might be a problem but it was free which is always a plus.
