I bought a set XS sights for a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. It came with a little plastic punch to drift the sights with. I have been wailing on the old sights for a half hour now and haven't gotten them budge. Its just eating away at the little plastic punch. Anyone do simple gun work in NOLA?

No set screws. No screws of any kind. Every video Ive found online already has the old sights off and shows how easy it is to install the new ones, just drift them in and add some locktite.

The guy in that video says he couldn't get the sights off with a brass punch and had to use a well placed screwdriver. Ill give that a try tomorrow. Thanks for the link.

Using a screwdriver in place of a punch did the trick. New sights installed easy after getting the old ones off.
