PM me if you ever want someone to go jogging with, I live a block off the lakes and have been procrastinating working out for a few weeks now.

Will do. During the week I been either running or biking to the spectrum by the bulldog to work out. I tell ya, since I started getting there that way instead of driving I've been getting some decent results. Even people at the gym have been saying things too me. I guess that was the secret the whole time.

inb4 "So what makes this any different than any other day?"

Seriously, I've been pretty busy lately, but today I have done 100% nothing useful. I've been on the internet and reading.... that's it. I was going to clean up my man cave, but I went in and looked at it for about 5 minutes and decided "Nope, I don't feel like it."

    Ever had a similar day?
Yesterday. I just was so worn out from working a whole regular work week then coming home and trying to catch up on house chores. I spent my weekend (Wednesday and Thursday) busting butt in the yard getting the mowing, weedeating, spraying, etc done then moved into the house to work on cleaning the spare guest/hobby room. I was just exhausted. I spent all day Friday just relaxing and rechaging before going back to work Friday night.

A couple of the ham radio guys were talking about Ship Island last night on the 147.225 (Ascension Parish) repeater as I was going to work. They were discussing how it's nice to go out for the day, that you ride over on a ferry from Biloxi, that you can't stay and camp over night, etc.... I've never been there and never really had an interest in going but I learned a lot just listening during my drive to work. Glad you got to go and had a good time with the family.

You obviously having met him in person if you think that!

Yes. I have. But I also know the posting style for alot of the guys. After being here long enough and paying attention, you can pick up the "tone". I genuinely think he was teasing.

Well... Except for Bayoupiper. I give his posts the doggy version of an upside down head quite a bit.

Love Ship Island it's been years since we've been. Did you go through the fort?

We got to take a quick tour. All of the staff were great and we got to see a lot of sea life on the boat ride there. It had been many years since I have been and didn't remember all of the private boats anchored by the island. I see a trip on a bay boat in the near future :)

Well while some of you wasted away, some of us had to work and be a productive member of society. You're welcome

 I work most days of the week. Do they not let you have a day off every now and then?

I didn't even know BBQ was a democrat.

 You can call me BBQ, you can call me Jacob, you can call me Jake, you can call me a dirty son of a bitch, but if you ever call me a democrat again, I'll finish this fight. :squint:

Wait, are you being serious? Didn't your signature used to be something about working for the Obama Administration? Or was it Regan..

 my old signature said I was an internet poster for 2 different non-specific white house administrations. It was a joke. How many presidents hire someone to post on internet forums?
