Well, I've been wanting a Dillon 550 for a while now.

I finally broke down this morning and ordered one from Dillon. Now comes the loooonnnngggg wait for it to get to the house, hopefully before I come back to work in 7 days. I got it in .45 acp, I plan on getting the set ups for .223 and .357 mag/ .38 sp. as well.

Just thought I would share my excitement with people who would appreciate it!!

Ditto, Dillon ships quick, they have the best customer service ever. Blue is cadillac, I run a 550, Square B and a competitor Single Stage. MY 550 is my favorite, I have it set up now for all of my competition .223 loads, I can crank out about 300 per hour if I have my primer tubes loaded and ready to go. You, my friend, have bought the best, no need to upgrade, unless you want to go commercial.

I've always heard great things about them and I'm getting tired of working with a single stage to load large amounts at a time. This should give me lots more time to shoot.

Be careful with the Blue Koolaid. It stains really bad and if you try to wash it off, it just spreads.

Between my 550 and 650 I have 9 complete toolheads with powder measures.

Great set up. I plan to set up something like this, just without the 650 (for now anyway). I'm just gonna buy the entire heads with measures and conv. kits. Should make things much smoother in going from one caliber to the next.

Well, my 550 come in at 10:30am this morning. I ordered it Tuesday at 7am or so. Great shipping dept. Now to set it up and start to play. I cleaned up some .45 brass already, that way I can set it up and start to roll right off.
