Our bathroom faucet has been leaking for a while. I just bought all the goodies from Home Depot and replaced them.
When replaced, the pipes started leaking and all the joints.
Another trip to HD and BOOM I thought it was fixed, well it's not.

Any Bayou Shooter plumber's out there?

    Need a lil help guys!!!

    Thanks,

    Robbie

Edit - picture up - it's leaking from both joints.

All the gaskets are in the correct way, all new from HD.
    Story
The faucet was leaking from the handle's (both cold and hot) dripping down to the base of cabinet, I discovered this while getting a new bar of soap.
    - No big deal right? - Went to HD earlier today and bought a new faucet, buy once and cry once.
    - Installed new faucet, and p trap and other pvc was leaking.
    - Back to HD and bought ALL NEW STUFF.
    - Installed, worked great for a few minutes, and then **** I thought I had that licked.

Where exactly is it still leaking? Make sure it's not leaking around the drain by filling bowl up and see if it'll hold water. Also, check to see if water is not splashing/rolling back under faucet.

    So the drain is leaking.

There is a gasket/seal if put in upside down it will leak.
    Nut should be hand tight.

Hope this helps. It SHOULD be a simple fix, but I know that isn't always the case.

So, if it's not around the fitting into the bowl and the pipe/P-trap fittings are snug with the gaskets in correctly, I'd think the only other thing is it's possibly cross-threaded? Are you sure you got the right size stuff for the drain hole in the sink?

If you're tired of messing with it just let it dry off and douse that mofo in plumbers putty.

Any time that I had small leaks where there is a threaded joint/part I just used some wax off a toilet bowl gasket.

I have one set aside that I cannibalize. Just pinch off a bit and rub in around the threads then screw on the fitting. 9 times out of 10 it has sealed the leak up.
