Don't hear much about in La. Give me the skinny. I'm a revo lover and would like to learn more about this.

It is shot in Thibodeaux usually every other month, in fact there is a match next weekend on Sat i think. Go to the la gator web site and look under the heading of LSS anf you will find the lists for ICORE and the steel dates. Two really good folk's run that club, Joe Touchton and Annette Aysen, she is the current leading ladies revolver shooter in the country.

Annette graciously allowed the Southern Regional Revolver Championship to move to the Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club in Byram this year. It's October 7-9.

I haven’t looked at the calendar but there should be an ICORE match every month. If not, than you can shoot revolver in IPSC.

There are a number of good revolver shooters that shoot these matches

Can't make it this Saturday due to Mardi Gras and 12 hour posts. If/when I do go,I will use a S&W model 67 4" or a 64 4"bbl. I've shot club matches but never ICORE or IPSC.

You'll need a holster that is secure and covers the trigger guard and 5 or 6 speed loaders and a good way to carry them. Also, ammo must meet a power factor of 120 or greater (bullet weight in grains X velocity : 1000)

There will be an ICORE Classifier match in Thibodaux Saturday morning at 9:00 am.
