Hi , everyone , I'm new here and it looks like you fellows have a great sight here. I've been interested in doing some IDPA shooting for some time now , but it seems like every time I find a group , they are shooting on Sunday. I like to take the wife and kids and go worship God on Sunday , so , does anyone know of any local shoots that take place on Saturday. Help would be appreciated...Thanks !

Hey mtnbkr1, I too shoot in the Amite Club, if you take I-12 west from Picayunne then north on I-55, I figure you are about 1.5 hours away, not bad from a half a day of great day of SAT fun with gunpowder!!,, If you would like to meet up with us, we usually meet at the BK @ the university exit on I-55 exit approx 7:30 on Sat am, its always the first Sat of the month

We have a match the 2nd sat. of every month at the coast rifle pistol club in biloxi. It is a combat pistol match and not an I.D.P.A. match we dont follow any particular format other than combat pistol . The guy that runs the match comes up with some pretty creative stages, we usually shoot 5 stages
you have to shoot accurate and not just fast the penalties are pretty steep.
