Ted is out there on a lot of stuff or should i say over passionate, but on this he is just speaking what nobody in Washington has the stones to say. Repeat offenders are the main cause of violent crime. Especially after they attend prison, they learn and hone their skills.

I can certainly forgive a transgression from someone his age that he made when he was probably 19 or so. Seems he has found his bearing about things now. Or, maybe he is just physically a coward when it comes to battle and finds it better to fight the same beliefs and ideals on this more public front? Who knows.

What he says, while extreme, seems to make sense to me 99% of the time.

You don't seem to understand. Whatever a man does in his TEENS must define his character for the REST OF HIS LIFE!

If he didn’t want to go to Vietnam, there wear other branches of the Military he could have joined besides the ARMY. I for one didn’t want to go so I joined the NAVY. Went to NAVY Diesel School and spent my four years on the East coast of the US and the West coast of Italy. Not all Military personal went to Vietnam.
