I am, been watching for 35 years. This is a first for Indy in my lifetime, no fans in the stands. Usually 200,000 + @ the track on race day, but it doesn't really matter to the drivers.
I'm not a fan of the new windshield but I get it, doing everything to protect the driver from head/neck injuries. Lot of kinetic energy there @ 230 mph.
One of my favs was in the 1980s when Danny Sullivan spun 360, recovered, and won the race. That was crazy. And Rick Mears days competing, he won like 4 times. Mears was a great driver, very skilled and disciplined.
