Can anyone tell me how this is or how I can make it work.... I have a (4) AA back up battery charger for my Iphone 3Gs... Now I've seen where "firewire" adapters are not supported, but mine did work a few months ago.

Now when I plug in my phone is says that charging is not supported by this device... WTF... Is there a way around this. I don't want to buy another one and update my phone and have that one stop working too.

    Nope, your screwed....

Apple has a proprietary control over that 32 pin connector and can approve who is now allowed to use it. I just went thru this with a speaker set I had that also had a s video output. Now the only way it will work is buy the apple cable.

This is what I don't get... It used to work, so did my wifes (different battery adapter brands). Now all of a sudden it says not supported. I'm one of those that as long as it works, I don't care what it looks like or how old it is. So it really pisses me off when I buy something and it works then all of a sudden its outdated and I have to buy another, then its outdated, so on and so forth.
