    Hey guys...

Need some help from those more technologically-inclined with Apple products. I have an ITunes/Apple account that I created for my daughter last year when I bought her an Ipod touch. I just upgraded to a new Iphone today and used my existing Itunes ID to log in. The problem is now everything is trying to sync to both the Iphone and the Ipod...

I want to keep everything separate. What are my options?

Go to Settings, iTunes & App Store, and turn off Automatic Downloads.

Any apps bought can be downloaded to both devices.

    Thanks!

The only other problem is that my contacts from my phone are syncing to her device. Anyway to stop this?

Nip it in the bud now and start a new account. My mom and brother messed with that same problem for a couple of years and there is no fixing it. If you want you can start the new account and just chage the email to her account to hers.

    ??????????
Both of my sons have iPod Touches and I have an iPhone all on the same account.
Once I turned off the auto downloads on all three devices they don't sync.
The upside is any apps/songs/etc. bought can be put on all three devices at no additional cost.

You can share one account for the APPs Store which will allow you to share purchases b/t all iOS products, but you'll need to create separate accounts so that you can configure iCloud/iMessages on each. If you use the same account for iCloud/iMessages, texts meant for one will go to all.

I have iCloud setup on the main account (Apps) so that I can use Find My iPhone on all Devices under the same account. That way I can goto http://icloud.com and track all devices from the same account.
