Not a rifle or a new member but I had the same issue with a member from the Hammond area last month and never received the parts I paid for.

rivers edge and south of the bayou is lol..
Anyway,I just wanted a few personal reasons why the new millennial's don't ship.
Scared, crying over having to go to PO,ashamed of or running from something to give me their
addy. I understand,Ill try not to hurt any ones wittle feelings.I forget were in a new society.
I'm just an old feller trying to keep collecting parts.

I drove through Transylvania La. one time.
I got screwed once on here by a active member that a few people knew.
Close to Christmas and he wanted a new BX25x2 mag that I had for his kid. Asked me to send it rush so it would make it on time. I agreed to send it and just wait on the M.O. because of his request and because he was active here and actually had a few friends. He disappeared, never paid, never answered PM’s. Truthfully, if I lost 25 bucks to run his sorry ass off and make him feel so unwelcome that he won’t bother anyone here again, money well spent. But I rarely will go out of my way for a screen name that I don’t know personally now. I know we have a NOLA here, this guy’s screen name was similar. Nola shooter maybe? Not sure, I just know he’s no longer here. I sent PM’s to his friends to ask about him but nobody would say. I just left feedback to reflect his poor character. I don’t miss the mag, but I resent the action.
Yeah, wait for payment, I know. But I took a risk for a kid or so I thought.
And please leave bad feedback for these guys. I always check their feedback before buying or selling. One bad review might not be enough to kill a transaction, but it would at least alert us to be a little cautious with any promises they might make.
Personally, I've done a fair amount of horse trading on the interwebs.
I always insist on using Postal Money Orders. Both ways.
I receive the M.O. then I mail the item.
Same way the other way.
If someone rips you off, sick the Postal Inspectors on them, and it's a federal beef.
I've never had an issue.
USPS once lost a package I had insured for $550 and never found it. I had to refund the buyer and never got refunded by USPS.
The package left Walker and never made it to Baton Rouge. I lost $550 plus cost of insurance.
