Something occurred to me early this morning. I'm not sure if it was the cough syrup, or just being tired from another overnight shift, but a comment on Iran came to mind.

I think it was Gingrich that said, "We're not at war with Iran, but Iran has been at war with us since '79". It's not important who said it, but what was said is.

I've got this little pocket copy of The Constitution that sits on my computer desk, most of you probably have one, it's the one that comes with an order from LaRue. It has a picture of President Washington superimposed over The Constitution, holding a quill as if he is expecting your signature. At the bottom it simply says, "...its only keepers, the people. --George Washington".

Now whether or not you consider this next part to be "tin-foil" or not, just think about it.

It is obvious that The Constitution is a burden to the current administration. Since it is the "rule book" that they must follow, they try to circumvent it, or even ignore until they are called on it. They have encroached further and further on The Bill of Rights, and have added amendments to give themselves more control over the people.

Since you and I, and every other free man born into the United States is a keeper of The Constitution, a Constitutional Army if you will, we stand in the way of the Authoritarian State that they seek.

While we may not be at war with the Federal Government, they are at war with us. I can't say when it started, 1860, 1913, 1936, 1968, 1986, 1994, 2001, 2008, 2012, you figure that out for yourself, but they are at war with us. They continue to erode away at our rights, devalue our currency, control the media, and slowly disarm us. They have taken over our schools, control business, and are taking over health care. They control the food and water supply.

Folks, I'm not sure what we need to do to turn this around. We need to figure that out, and quick.

I'm not sure there's enough tinfoil in the world for this one:

Obama and Boehner could come to a standstill with Obama refusing to sign any bill that doesn't give teh President exclusive control over the debt limit. Boehner, having actually grown a pair, refuses and causes a government shutdown. Obama, never one to "let a good crisis go to waste," hold funds only his pet projects such as funding new solar plants and waits until the courts run out of money forcing them to completely shutdown. Obama then resorts to the exclusive use of exeutive order to pass every far-left, socialist wet-dream project you can imagine (including the removal of the 22nd amendment) since the court is no longer available to declare anything unconstitutional!

Will never happen and I'm sure there are a million holes in this idea but if we're all going to be writing horor stories anyhow I might as well go BIG!

    Interesting perspective Kenny.

(And it's nice to have another in the tin foil club -- I just recently found that the boxes have little tabs on the side to stop me from pulling the whole damn roll out when I'm in need of a bigger hat).

Interesting perspective both Greg and Kenny. This administration is at war with the Catholic Church, white men, working people, people with morals, God, The Ten Commandments, unborn children, need I go on.

You guys are awesome, don't ever change. I love the hilarity of some of this stuff.

Just something to think about: if the federal government was at war with you, you'd all be dead. They've gotten pretty good at fighting insurrections. After all, That's what the drones are for, right?
