NOLA really wanted the .22 which is now sold. The .38s may also be sold. I will know tonight. I was mistaken, the Spanish S&W Model 10 copy will chamber a .38 Special. The lockup is good and the firing pin protrudes when you let the hammer down with the trigger pulled. It needs a good cleaning. The top break is chambered for .38 S&W. It is a bit loose. Also, this model is reputed to be safe with black powder cartridges only. I am not sure it was safe when new. S&W4ME, if you are in for the .38s for $100, I will let you know as soon as I know their status.

I think i should head down with some cash and buy some pistols. As long as they have serial numbers should be an interesting time.

Better yet, leave a list with current values so they don't get taken on the ones they want to sell.

What do JPSO, and other cities (LA, Boston, etc) do with the firearms they collect? Aside from stealing the ones that are worth a lot from people who were unaware of there value.

chop them up with a saw and sell the metal for scrap.

I wonder how many murders go unsolved because of these.
