My wife bought a plasma cutter for my birthday (first real use). The center target is a 1/2" thick, 12"x 24". The two other targets are 5/8" thick, 8"x 10". I also added a couple other targets to the bottom . Looking forward to trying it out this weekend.
    Any other ideas out there?

mmmmmmmmmmm............steel!! I've got a .338lm that will make some perfect hanging holes in those plates if you need anymore! :D

I think they'll be hit so much that water won't have time to settle on them, despite the weather outlook for this weekend!

What is considered a safe distance for a given round?
Are you depending on deflection for ricochet angle?
Is that a specific steel or just what you had laying around.

Safe distance for me where this will be shot is about 75yds, and the shooters are about 25ft above the target. I also angle the plates so the deflection of the rounds is down. I am not nor do I claim to be a deflection expert, but so far so good.
