    i was a little nervous running errands earlier but i think im getting used to it, i just have to find a way to carry in a suit...without a shoulder holster

    Like he said^^…still have that 40? Sold that 27 to my cousin and bought a 23..couldn't get myself to like the baby..congrats on the permit...isn't it nice to live in free(somewhat) America instead of the peoples republic of Cali…lol

    yeah still got the .40 i love it. might upgrade to a subcompact to carry.

    my only concern is i dont want to modify my carry gun just in case i have to use it and i dont want the police think i have modified it.

    Don't use hollow point cop killer black talon bullets either...

    no seriously...I wouldn't worry about a trigger shoe being a mod. Maybe if you lighten trigger or make some competition mods, I do trigger and spring work on my guns, I really do not think that would come into play...if a trial got that far off the rails you'd have more to worry about than mods to the gun

    My 2 cents...there are others opposite that opinion

    A mod is a mod no matter what is done to the gun. It could be a full on rebuild, or just clipping a flashlight onto the gun, the courts see it as a modification. That being said, I've never heard of a court caring what was done to the gun, as long as it and the shooter were legal.
    I'm not speaking for the courts, that's just been my experience.

    I dropped my paperwork off and got printedin Baton Rouge on Monday March 12th, just got the permit in the mail today. Not too shabby, I was fully ready to wait at least 30 days after reading this post.
