    Rural, Louisiana
Hey guys, joining from that "rural" area between Denham and Baton Rouge, though I travel to port Vincent or New Orleans alot. Was trying to look for a gun part store and found this site. Some background, I used to hunt with my grandpa and never really got into guns as I always jumped from the loud noise and kickback. Few years later I was sorting some stuff and came upon an 1800s percussion pistol and found that the hammers were worn. I've been trying to find some new hammers for the gun so I can get back into guns. I'm more of a pre modern gun fan so I will be starting to buy kits and maybe collect antiques.

Glad to join this community, hoping there's other pre modern enthusiasts out there.

Hello and welcome from Hammond America. I have seen that old guns are best left with the worn parts, untouched. Unless you can find period parts in better shape. My 2 cents.
