I don't belong to many forums so it takes me awhile to figure things out, I'm 62 this month and still love to shoot, I am an avid 1911 fan, guess cause they are an old design too but keep on going. I also carry a Glock 23 and 27 just because they are simple, light, and shoots pretty straight. I am also an Alien gear fan, I don't think I've ever had a more comfortable holster. can't get around too well right now, just had back surgery Weds, but getting better the day, at least it's raining every day. Well I'll be around, hope to get to know y'all. Have a great day.

Welcome PappaDoc. Hope you heal up quickly from the surgery. One good thing is you can at least shoot a bit while healing. I was so bored after my lumbar microdiscectomy a few years ago I was shooting my long bow in the back yard 4 days out. A pistol should be much easier on the back than that, although I recommend starting with the polymer guns over the boat anchor!:)
