Maybe i will, I can't buy anything, I have to work with the stuff i have. This will round out my collection so to speak. I have a g17 im in the midst of trading for a g23 which could be a cc gun, that model 66 i got from you which is going no where. I've wanted a 1911 since i was a kid( or a much younger kid at least) and if the right deal is offered i may not say no. I may be a little bit picky though cause that model 66 i got up for trade is pretty friggin sweet.

We will see.

Good idea! I own a model 66-1 that I will NEVER get rid of and I intend to let my kids know that they can never get rid of it either.
And yes it is hard to find a good one unless someone just doesn't know what they have.

Yeah well i got two model 66's. the other is a -2 4" that just simply is never going anywhere. Now i hesitate to use the 2.5" as a carry piece! Dont' know if i want to get it beat up.
