Usage will be my truck gun it will remain there most of the time. I will not be shooting it every time I go to the range or woods. Most ammo would be fmj’s I will only run hollow points threw on occasion to make sure it will feed jhp’s without issue. For my intended uses what do keltec owners think good decision or bad?
I have multiple other handguns for home and lots of shooting but just want something a little less expensive to keep in truck in case of theft. I still want something 100 percent reliable. Thanks Gary

I was told to make sure you get the one with the metal mag release. It has all of the problems they did have fixed.;)

I got one last week. It functioned perfectly with 4 different brands of ammo, fmj and jhp.
I put 125 rounds through it, I wouldn't push it off to truck duty, it is a very easy firearm to conceal.

I own one and love it. With that said, 100% Reliable Truck Gun = Glock. You can find an older generation for around $300 (or at least my friend did at the last gun show)

Everyone keeps refering to "Newer Ones" How does someone know if its Newer? Is there a certain Serial # to start the new Generation that has the bugs worked out?

For a truck gun, I'd get a P11. You're not going to be concerned about the size difference, the trigger system is stiff but about as reliable as a rock, and you can use S&W 59 mags for as much capacity as you need. As an added bonus, they're usually cheaper than PF-9s, especially used.
