It's pretty fun but it is sort of short and the ending really sucks. You can't punch random people or shoot them which was always a plus in grand theft auto games. So it's pretty much a much more structured Grand Theft Auto but it also severely limits gameplay.

Anybody have this game? Looks interesting but is it worth the money?
It's good for at least one play through.

The interviews and investigations were interesting to hold my interest the whole way through.
But it didn't have any re-playability. You know the story and the gameplay is the same from beginning to end with not much variation.
It seems no matter what choices you make the story moves forward in a linear fashion.

The facial animations look awesome, but sometimes the head looks to be doing one thing while the body is stiff.
    It's a gimmick that didn't add anything.

If you can find someone that has it, barrow it.
    Rent it through Gamefly.

If you like Heavy Rain, give L.A. Noire a try.

    :)

I bought it and enjoyed it. As mentioned it doesn't have the replay value that the GTA series had, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable game, IMO. Glad I got it.
