True dat! Just really curious to see the pandemonium up close. Glad I spent the last few years stocking up.

Hell, Bring .223 or 5.56. Price there was 1.00$ per round. And people wew buying it. AR's were priced anywhere from 2000$ to 4500$.... All I could do was shake my head and smile.

I imagine it was just like the one here in Alex last weekend. People were lined 1/2 to 3/4 the way to hwy 28 saturday and there were not many venders there. They were selling old military mags for $30. I haven't talked to my dad who was at the Lake Charles show.

Sounds like almost enough to take the AR I bought a few weeks ago before Christmas and a case of 5.56 ammo and see what the market will bear. If it were an el-cheapo AR and not a model that was mail ordering for $1,200 before the craze I might be tempted to do that, but by the time you add in optics, and all the little accessories (4 PMAG's, BUIS, AFG, hard case ...) I probably have over $2,000 into it, plus another $350 I paid for a case of ammo as the craze started and I am not sure if it would reallyl be worth it.

There were more people there than I have ever seen at a small show. Very crowded. Hours today are 9-4. I'm done. All I bought was a 1999 silver eagle coin(daughters birth year).

My two sons and I went yesterday around 2-ish and there was a line 50-75 deep out the door. It was packed and made browsing a chore at best. It was really more of a flea market than a gun show and the prices were beyond ridiculous: $20 for a 50 round box of 9mm 115gr FMJ WWB and AR's were all more than double normal retail prices. Handgun prices seemed to be about normal though. I walked out empty-handed.

Go to Darryls for lunch. Killer sandwhichs, plus football on tv

    Gotta love Darryl's.

I avoided the show for that reason. Figured it would be a pain just to see the tables.

    +10 on Darrel's lol
