Last Minute Hog Hunting Opportunities??

Anyone know where I could find a last minute opportunity to do some hog hunting within a few hours of New Orleans? I worked out a hunt with Louisiana Feral Hogs for Saturday. Just got off the phone with Jason over there and the recent rain has made the road to the land impassable.

Bad news is I have two buddies in the truck headed this way from Tallahassee already.

Any ideas for salvaging their weekend hunting plans? I know that Pearl Rive WMA is a good source of hogs, but I don't want to crashing through the woods without a plan and ruin someone's deer hunt.

I am sure we could find something else to do, maybe some fishing, or your typical weekend drinking, but I thought I would ask before I gave up on them.

Just wonder how you made out with the hogs or the beer drinking. You dont have to crash the woods at pearl they are every where.

I figured the last deer weekend was not the best time to go wandering around in the woods over there at Pearl though. I am going to get over there and do some walking around out of season this year to get my bearings.
