Due to being very busy at work, and three trips out of the country since October, my deer hunting season had been cut very short this season. Once the project I was working on was over, I took a week of vacation and headed to my lease to hunt. I had missed the rut and deer movement during daylight hours had slowed to almost none. After hunting for nine days I finally connected on this 8-point at 5:30 PM on Saturday, Jan. 22.
