While my sympathies would certainly go out to anyone who loses a loved one, all of these stories seemed to focus their anger on the weapon used rather than the person at the controls of it. That, to me, is insane.

If someone swings a baseball bat at me, I'm not blaming the bat.

At the risk of sounding morbid, if we could hear the dead peoples story, I bet many would end with "Damn, i wish i had a gun"

I live right outside of New Orleans. Murder capital of the United States. Criminals have guns. They use guns. They kill with guns.

So we should take away all the guns from all the law-abiding citizens. That way, when a criminal kills a law-abiding citizen we will feel righteous that we just made an martyr (willing or not) out of that victim.

Eventually, this will cause the criminals to change their way of life when they're tired of easy victims who can't fight back.

Ban guns now.

If you filter for LA, it doesn't show. They probably have someone reading them and throwing out the ones that don't meet their agenda. I tried to be as straight-faced and facetious as possible so it might actually look like some hair-brained lunatic's utopian idea, but it may not have worked.
