You lever gun guys should try Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette shooting. There are matches for .22lr lever guns, pistol cartridge lever guns and big-bore lever guns. Targets are set at 40, 50,75 & 100 meters for .22 and PC and 50, 100, 150 & 200 meters for big bore. It's lots of fun!

The requirements for Smallbore Cowboy Rifle is any tube-fed .22lr repeater that is not bolt-action (lever, pump or automatic).

Pistol cartridge must be a tube-fed lever gun in a pistol caliber (.22LR, .22 mag, .357, .25-20, .32-20, .45LC, .44 mag, etc)

Big bore is any centerfire lever gun .25 caliber or larger.

All bullets have to be round or flat nose.

We have a smallbore & PC club match in Gonzales on the first Sunday of each month and there is a smallbore Club match in Mississippi at the South Mississippi Gun Assn's range on the third Saturday of the month in the afternoon.

The state championship for all three rifles in in Gonzales the first weekend of December.

You have some great lever action rifles. I have one Winchester Ranger 30-30 from 1994 in Walnut, the Centennial Edition.

Other than that, my others are all .22LR and .22WMR

Wow. Some very nice guns posted on here. I am currently looking into buying a good lever action rifle. Not sure what caliber or make yet. Lots of good examples on here.
