No formal club. We shoot smallbore, highpower, air rifle and lever gun silhouette at different ranges in south Louisiana and south Mississippi. We shoot every weekend day of the month except the fourth Sunday.

I'll be bringing my 1866 Uberti "Yellow Boy" in 45 Colt to the next shoot. I reload blackpowder rounds. The smoke keeps the mosquitos away. ;-)

How many rounds do you need at a normal meet?

You need 40 rounds for the match and whatever you want to shoot before and after the match. I would bring at least 60 rounds so you can get sight settings.

The only monthly lever gun match we have is the first Sunday. Every other weekend day of the month is taken by smallbore, highpower, or air rifle silhouette matches. We occasionally shoot a .22 lever gun match after our smallbore matches in Mississippi on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
