The best I've been able to find so far is the Streamlight TLR-3 with an adapter to fit the H&K rail. Anyone have any experience with this setup, or any other rigs?

    Thanks!

As LSP said, the adapter rails are really cool until you need to holster your weapon without the light. You have to look for a wrench first. Or get your holster custom made to your rail.

I have a rail and used it once. For home defense I prefer having the light separate from the pistol so I am not sweeping the gun all over the neighborhood.. If the bump is loud enough I'll be grabbing the shotgun with lights attached anyway.

Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it.

LSP, are you saying that the TLR-3 will bolt on to the H&K without the adapter? If so, that would be great. I've been able to find one online for $65...
