I've been a daily Liveleaker since late 06'.
    An account member since 07'.

I've never seen them do something like this. Long-term Liveleakers are losing their **** right now
and Liveleak is going to take a big traffic hit over it.

    Interesting.

This can play out two ways in the minds of the masses.

    1. "By continuing to host and share more ISIS propaganda, it only encourages them to capture more hostages and execute them in barbaric, painful ways. At some point, we just become the broadcast network and motivation for their sick videos."

    2. "The more attention we give them, the more likely they are to die. When the public bands together and demands an attack on someone, sometimes our government listens. Take Kony or Boko Haram as an example."

Wasn't CJ the site to first host the infamous 'Chechclear' video.

The 'Unknown Russian Soldier' getting his throat cut.

I'd not look for that video if you haven't been burned by it already folks.

It's nothing you really want to see
b/c the sounds will haunt you long after
the image has left your head,
    if it ever does.

+1 -- Heed the warning brothers. Daniel Pearl's video and sound will linger as well.

That's the one where they were stepping on the guy's head (I seem to remember) before they did it. Yeah, I remember that one from quite a while back. Nothing nice.

That's the one I was thinking about. Gruesome as heck. And remember the one with the Russian pilot, they shot him in the arm before doing the deed with the big, blunt knife?

    Interesting.

I'm guessing that Liveleak is bowing to pressure from Government Entities. Probably catching hell from those who will say that Liveleak encourages the evil behavior of ISIS.

That said...I totally agree....They'll take a hit. I'm also guessing if that does happen...someone else will start a NEW uncensored Live Leak. You know...the old "market forces" crap rules.

I believe as you age, you don't need to or have the desire to witness unspeakable acts of deplorable human behavior. You understand human anatomy and physics; and you already know what happens when limbs are chopped off, or crushed, or whatever. You also understand the pain and the suffering. You really don't need to witness it.

From a natural standpoint; unspeakable human behavior is no different than a pack of hyenas ripping apart a young live antelope. What makes it different is we seem to think we need to show everyone what we've done; and the reasons we've done it. And the others need to acknowledge it for some reason.

Think about it this way. Other than the obvious reasons, why don't you watch a child porn video? Because it's illegal or because it's unspeakable human behavior? If you've never seen a throat cut, but feel the need to because it's shocking or outrageous, can't the same be said about the porn? We know those that produce it, sell it, or trade in it or sadistic monsters; but so are those that parade heads around on sticks.

You don't need to witness child porn because you already know in your head it's despicable and deplorable! So why do you need to witness a guy getting his head chopped off?

my thoughts on this as well.

and regarding liveleak- so what. I respect the decision, but it'll be hosted on hundreds of other sites. China is proof that you can't regulate the internet.
