I'm casting 147 gr bullets for 9mm out of a Lyman 4 cavity #356637 mold, using wheel weights and quenching the bullets in water. The bullets are sized to .356. The bullets are tumbling with 3.6 grains of Tite Group. Does anyone know of a powder and load that works well for 147 gr lead bullets? Thanks.

I gave up trying TG with 147g lead bullets because of tumbling out of my CZ85. Switched to WSF / Universal and N320 with better results.

My Plated bullet load should get you close with lead. Berry's 147 plated with 4.3gr WSF. Stable in HK USP 9 and MP5.

Thanks to all for taking time to respond.
I got the bullets stabilized with 3.7 gr of American Select, a load suggested by a friends loading manual.
