I am trying to find some good reads to learn about long distance shooting. I am in Montana and have the opportunity to stretch things out quite a bit so I was hoping I could get some good info before I decided to go reinforce bad habits.....

Books, videos, direction would be great.

Most of David Tubb's books are good reads. I'd suggest "The Rifle Shooter". Find a comfortable position and your natural point of aim. Dry fire, dry fire, dry fire, and then dry fire some more. Learn the fundamentals first, then worry about the technicalities of long range shooting. Otherwise you'll just be watching lead go down range......which is fun too, but won't make you a better shooter.
