    Ft. Polk
    Hey gang,

I'm at Ft. Polk, we're deploying soon so I'm going to be storing some things. My cars and firearms are going to be taken care of out of this area so those aren't a concern. My concern is anything else metal, it seems that that the humidity is going to destroy anything metal.

Deployment is a year with 2 weeks of R&R at the 6 month mark but I'm not coming back here for R&R, I'm going to go back home.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking about moving my tools with my cars so they'll get out of this humidity.

    Baton Rouge... Mostly
When I went to Iraq by necessity some of my guns were in a non climate controlled attic in the area...

They were coated with RIG.... left for over a year.

    And were fine.

They arn't making it anymore, I bought quite a few cans when they stopped...

See if you can find similar.
