Looking for the age of a Remington 1100

All,

I recently picked up a Remington 1100 20LT from an estate sale. I was looking around to find its age and have come across a brick wall. Everything that I have been able to find online does not match the shotgun. What I have is:

Serial number on the receiver: N231321K
Various markings on the barrel:
Left hand side: (mod), (heart, lower case n, open quotation marks, 39)
Right hand side: (zero inside of a triangle), (REP inside of a circle), and a capital D

I've emailed Remington about a rifle's manufacture date and they were able to tell me.
