Lost Bolt

cam anyone tell me where i can find a bolt for a remington model 778 bolt action in .243. Afriend of mine was gave the rifle but it didn,t have the bolt with it and we haven,t had any luck finding one online so thoght i,d ask here.

Did you call remington?

Pacific tool and guage, might be able to make for you. You will need a smith to check headspace though with any bolt you find.

There was another place that sold factory remington parts, I got a stock from a while back....cant remember the name right this second.

They said it,s been discontinued the 788 was last made in 1980
