So I bought a new 870 for Christmas and per my wife's requirements for storing my boomsticks, stuck it in a rifle case with the trigger lock on it. I promptly lost the keys to it and am now in possession of a $300 door stop. Does anyone know of a process for getting replacement keys from Remington or of a locksmith in the northshore area who would be able to remove the (half destroyed but still not open) lock.

If you tried to open it your self you probably ruined it for a locksmith to pick it best to just drill it at where the key goes in.

I don't own any Trigger locks I just put them on the truck in case someone wants one.
    Totally useless piece of C**p.
Put the gun in a safe. For your carry gun if you have kids at home get a quick reaction safe for the bed side night stand.
    No I don't sell safes

I would have left out the part about your wife and just said that you got a good deal on it cuz it had a lock on it with no key . :D

Nothing beats the "my idiot buddy lost the key to his trigger lock. What's the best way to take care of this so he quits borrowing my shotgun?" routine.
