I took my renewal course in October and my permit expires in November but I won't be able to send the renewal papers in to Baton Rouge until at least December. Will I run into any problems trying to renew the permit after it expires?

read the the screens carefully and review the application before submitting.
they review 1st then email you a link to submit online payment with a credit card.
