With the Governor, the house, the senate, and AG now strongly Republican, how long will it take them to enact constitutional carry?

    They have no excuses.

My guess is that it will be much like when Trump had a red House and red Senate for two years. Remember all those sweeping changes to restore the 2A? Neither do I.

Good luck to us all, they'll probably screw us over. At least half of the (R) are "Dixiecrat" types. One judge here, an (R), was endorsed by the Democrat DA, and another who was elected back to House of Reps has rental properties in Single Family Neighborhoods and also clearly got millions in donations for her local election, and she mailed numerous fliers crafted for demographics every week. I get a neighbor's mail and their fliers were focused on education and our fliers are focused on crime, or some BS like that. It was pretty interesting to see first hand.

Trump installed 3 very pro-gun Justices to the Supreme Court. You can't do much better than that!

Jeff Landry was quoted verbatim in NRA Magazine, saying that when he's Governor, he will get Constitutional Carry done!

Louisiana hasn't had this many republicans in charge of everything in over 60 years! If they don't accomplish EVERYTHING they want here, shame on them all! They have Super Majorities in both Chambers on top of that!

If they play their cards right, Louisiana can be the most Conservative state in the entire country. Let's hope that religious zealotry doesn't send them too far down the rabbit holes!

You shouldn't be. There are better ways to foster law abiding, moral and ethical, common sense based conservative values without primarily using religion as a cudgel!

If deep faith keeps people happy, productive, moral, and law abiding; I'm all for it. To use it as the primary basis for political decision making is a recipe for disaster. Too much room for hypocrisy (which almost ALWAYS happens)!

How do you fix rampant political corruption?
How do you stop homosexuals from trying to indoctrinate grammar school children?
How do you stop child trafficking?
How do you stop abortion as a means of birth control?
How do you stop political persecution?
How do you stop illegal prosecution of law-abiding patriots exercising their constitutional rights?
How do you stop rampant drug abuse and addiction?
How do you stop an out-of-control media that lies about everything good and promotes everything immoral?

Immorality is running amok in this country. It very well may take religious extremism/ zealotry to right the ship.
I think the left has accused our founding fathers as being religious zealots and extremists.
Every single thing that you listed is and has been fueled by the very first thing you listed, purposely.

The Republicans had a veto-proof majority, passed it in the House, then withdrew it in the Senate “because amendments were gutting it”. Nonsense. We have far too many RINOs to get it done. The conservative Republicans need to abandon the party. This state, and country, desperately need third and fourth party options. We should not have to choose between Chocolate or Vanilla at a Baskin Robins.
