LUBRICATION & RUST PROTECTION
Most all of us have our favorite products for lube and protection of the few guns we haven't lost yet in boating excursions. Opinions developed over years of using tried and true products -Hoppes No.9- and experimenting with new "WOW" break-through formulations that tout miraculous results with minimal efforts. Most of the NEW experiments fall far short of the heralded performance - and lead to conclusions like- " what used to work still works..." (unless they change the formulation -i.e. Coca-Cola), "some of the NEW stuff works for SOME purposes..." and "NOTHING works for EVERYTHING...".
While searching for an alternative lube for Pelgun Oil for airguns, on >smith-wessonforun.com<, I happened upon a post referencing
"Lubrication 101: Gun oil, snake oil and how to tell the difference".

The article's analysis tweaked my interest enough to prompt me to order some of the LUBRIPLATE products. Does anyone have any experience with these lubes? After receiving my shipment, and trying the product, I'll post on my observations. Obviously, the testing will be minimal - due to the current Biden-hole induced hoarding and price gouging ammo shortage. Just like toilet paper - when you need it you gotta have it.
