anybody else out there use the m-pro-7 gun cleaner?
if so have you had any issues with it stripping the finish off?
two guns two different finishes....same result, stripped to bare steel.
one was a para gi expert, not sure what finish they use, but the second
was a pistol i had cera coated.
not sure why i didnt just buy hoppes....brain fart i guess :confused::mad::mad:

I have never had problems with that happening!!

I occasionally use it when I run out of hoppes and don't feel like going to academy. Maybe I will start using it on test part from now on though.

I do use their oil though it works great!

thanks for the input guys. i have to believe that it is the quality of the finishes and not the cleaner then. the gi exp is a rather inexpensive pistol and im sure the finish is equally as cost effective. likewise, im not so sure about the quality and skill level of the guy that cera coated my 2011.
    thanks again

Used it. LIked the no odor part b/c it kept the former wife from bitching as much as usual. I never had it harm any finish.

Love the cleaners. I don't like using the CLP as lube. I used it once on my AR and a week later I had a puddle in the safe and little to no lube in the rifle.
