I'm looking to get an M1 Garand in the near future. I would like one in good condition, but not so good that I don't want to shoot it. Can anyone list some sites or other places online where I could begin my search?

    Thanks.

You'r gonna love a Garand . Just something about about them , hard to explain . I have two wartime Garands . Sometimes I just sit there and hold one and let the " old ghosts " talk to me . Sounds freaky . I don't care . You'll see . :)

I would recommend either a service grade or a correct grade (the correct grades looked pretty good at Camp Perry this year. The service grades were a little rough and some had replacement stocks.) Either would make you happy. Both would shoot well enough for your purposes.

Go to the Louisiana Shooting Association website and download an application.
