i posted a while back about losing my job and the good string of bad luck i've been having as of late.
    i had a
2 phone interviews and one in person interview with a very reputable heavy equipment dealer across the lake.
on the way home, the timing belt on my car ate a few teeth.while i sat and waited for a tow truck,2 things happened, the dealer called and made a vey lucrative offer of employment to me,and i removed the cylinder head to survey the damage.
i told my prospective employer that i needed to give a notice to my current employer(i did this to buy some time so i could get my car repaired)

i need to know if anyone has a name of a machine shop in the area
    i have a 2.0 16v vw cylinder head
it needs to be cleaned, new valve guides, install 8 intake valves, new valve stem seals installed and reassembled
the head is off the block and disassembled already
if anyone knows of a shop that can do this, please pm me or post it here
    thanks everybody

    Denham springs
When a VW bangs up Valves its nasty.

Look for a reman head ready to go.
    Like Clearwater Cylinder heads.
No I have not look ahead of time, but it shouldn't be hard to find beings that any time a TB jumps on a VW, BOOM goes Everything.
Save time and $$, get one ready to go [ in Reman form ]

Womack's around the Denham area. I've had a few VW's over the years, and have always changed the belt and water pump at 80k and never ever had any problems out of them

As far as local machine shop? Not many choices but NAPA in Covington has a pretty good reputation. Trey does good work if you go that route.
