    Lookin for a nice revolver that shoots .357 and would be a plus if it shoots .38 as well. Barrel must be 4-6 inches long. I prefer wood grips and nickel-plated finish but im not married to it.     FYI Unless I'm mistaken, I thought ALL .357 mag revolvers also fire .38 special ammo. You just have to remember to really clean the cylinders after firing LOTS of .38 sp cartridges (especially lead bullets) before switching to full power .357 mag loads. Need to remove the fouling build-up from the 1/10" shorter .38 sp case. The longer .357 mag case expands under extremely high pressure and the case mouths (all 5 or 6) can bind up on the fouling - making use of the ejector rod extremely hard or impossible. If you don't believe it, just have a length of 5/16" hardwood dowel and a hammer handy.
