I recently purchased this 1878 Enfield MKII for a very reasonable price. I have done the research in reference to KP copies and this isnot one. I see the Broad Arrow of the War Dept as well as the V.R. initially for Queen Victoria. There are several other markings all over this gun and would like to know if anyone else can tell me about this gun. It is a beautiful piece of history, but would like to know more about it. Anyone??? 1354739965362.jpg1354739963247.jpg1354739962126.jpg1354739961327.jpg1354739992369.jpg

You could post this in the curio and relic section of the website. I only mention it b/c some of the people into C&R weapons don't peruse the entire website.

I'd try posting the pictures on the Martini and Henry Forum at the below link. They'll be able to help you for sure.
